WHY CHOOSE US

A Unique Opportunity To Connect With Ancestors Through Kimchi

This summer retreat will include ancestral healing and reclamation of our ancestral wisdom through the process of making whole napa pogi  kimchi with Hollee McGinnis. You will be guided through the entire journey of making pogi kimchi from salting to stuffing so that it can be a practice you can reclaim in your own heart and home for yourself and your loved ones, just like those before us made it for their families and villages.

Korean Adoptee
Kimchi Healing Class

"I really enjoyed this class! I liked that it was very well-structured and that it involved many types of activities, while also giving space for mindfulness and conversation. I feel like I got very detailed instructions for making kimchi that I can use at home in the future! But I think the best part was the overall experience!"

Korean Adoptee
Kimchi Healing Class

"The conversation about the connection between identity, culture, and food has been the most powerful. New perspectives continue to plant new seeds for topics, feelings, and things to process/consider. Learning facts about cultural history during the cooking process was very impactful."

Chinese Adoptee
Kimchi Healing Class

"This is more than just a cooking class. 'Healing' is the right word to describe this experience. I appreciate how there's room for non-Koreans as well as the lessons/ frameworks are applicable elsewhere."
